Ethical Breeders of Labradoodles and Cockapoos
Ethical Breeders of Labradoodles and Cockapoos
Our dogs are a big part of our loving family, they make us smile, laugh and ensure we get plenty of exercise, our lives would seem empty without them. We have had Labradors in the past but a few years ago we discovered labradoodles and cockapoos and fell in love with these fun-loving affectionate miniature poodle cross breeds.
Over the years when our family have been looking for another puppy, we were upset to find 'business' breeders who didn't put the dogs welfare first, although there are also many dedicated breeders who's dogs are their first priority. Puppies that are taken away from their mum too early or kept in kennels/rooms with no social interaction and no experience of everyday family noises and activities do not have the best start in life. We strongly believe that the first few months of a puppies life is crucial in building the foundations for a well-balanced happy dog. This is illustrated by the number of young dogs in rescue centres who have been abandoned due to behaviour issues. Having had dogs from rescue centres in the past we fully support the work of rescue centres, but believe the best way to avoid dogs ending up in rescue centres is by supporting ethical breeding and breeding healthy puppies, starting early socialisation and ensuring they go to loving families who also recognise the importance of socialising their puppy.

Amber, Coco , Daisy & Bree would like all dogs to have a loving home and they sponsor a kennel (kennel 7) at Many Tears Animal Rescue (MTAR) see link below. A rescue centre based in South Wales, who also has foster homes throughout the UK. They are a unique rescue centre where the majority of their dogs are ex-breeders and many have never seen the outside world before.
Our dogs are loved by our family, children, grandchildren and other pets. We love having puppies in our home, and they are included of our home life and are brought up in our lounge with all the usual noises, and other activities. Our puppies are started on the puppy socialisation plan (Kennel Club and Dogs Trust), see link below, to ensure they are happy and confident in their environment.
